Please refer to the images for the condition of the instrument. The piston cylinders and slides have been meticulously cleaned, even on the back, so there is no tarnish or discoloration characteristic of silver plating (please excuse areas where cotton swabs cannot reach).
The valves have been thoroughly oiled and the slides greased. There are no sticking parts or unusual quirks; the instrument is in good condition.
The valve oil I usually use is La Tromba T1, which I find to be very compatible with YAMAHA pistons.
There is no wear on the pistons, and absolutely no looseness. The springs are not worn out and provide a good return.
The instrument has been prepared to be ready for immediate use in competitions or concerts.
The water key corks and piston felts have been replaced and are almost new.
The included mouthpiece is the genuine YAMAHA 51L. I usually use an aftermarket one, so there are some minor scuffs on the connection to the instrument, but the rim is not deformed, and the cup and shoulder are like new.
The unfortunate aspects are two small dings on the U-tube. There is also a small ding near the engraving on the bell, so please consider carefully if you are looking for a flawless instrument. The dents are in locations that should be relatively easy to repair.

This instrument sings with a beautiful tone from low to high registers. I hope it catches the eye of a player who will cherish it.

I would rate the instrument's condition as B♭ class, but I have discounted it to account for the minor repairs needed for the scratches.
